Introduce

Most type of medical diagnosis and treatment equipments are the results of convergence technologies based on physics principles and various engineering technologies. The aim of the Medical Physics Major is to nurture scientists who can be globally competitive in the medical instrument field. Students will be educated in the various research laboratories in basic medical measurement science, which is a multidisciplinary science combining physics, biology, and engineering. The topics of the curriculum include basic subjects such as Introduction to Medical Physics, Medical Electronics, Bioelectricity and Biomagnetism, and advanced subjects such as Advanced Cognitive Neuroscience, and principles and utilization of the advanced measurement instruments used in various medical measurement fields such as radiation, lasers, and ultrasound.
